DevOps Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computing networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to "harness the cloud." We are seeking an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions.

As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you will work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You will apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to advance your clients\' meaningful missions.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud engineering, DevOps, and software development
• 5+ years of experience using Java, C++, Golang, or Python
• 5+ years of experience in developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
• 2+ years of experience capturing infrastructure as code, including CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor\'s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience debugging existing code
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and solving cloud-based network and system issues
• Experience deploying, maintaining, and updating cloud Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
• Experience provisioning computer networking and storage, and setting up servers which the platform runs, including virtual machines (VMs) or networks
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure and writing scripts using Bash and Python
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Master\'s degree in Computer Science
• AWS, Azure, GCP, Security Engineering, or Cyber Engineering Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including to location, the individual\'s education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\'s total compensation package for employees.
