Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group is looking for a DevOps/DevSecOps engineer to build a delivery platform handling security, automation and observability across cloud-native and on-prem systems.

You will secure CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, manage security tooling and IaC, and collaborate with product teams to lift engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience with Hardware / Sensors / Industrial IoT is essential.
• Proven ability to design, secure, automate and operate a software delivery platform.
• Experience across cloud-native and on-prem deployments from a single code base.
• Collaborates with product engineers, architects and QA to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Secure CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments across Azure, Azure Arc, Azure Stack Hub, Kubernetes and customer-managed environments.
• Manage SAST/DAST/SBOMs, artifact signing, secrets and vulnerability processes.
• Implement IaC with Terraform, Bicep and Helm; monitor with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana.

Build and own the software delivery platform where security, automation and observability ship with every release.

A global industrial technology business builds analytics on top of large-scale sensor and telemetry data from mission-critical equipment. They're growing a new product engineering team and need a DevOps Engineer / DevSecOps engineer to build the delivery platform underneath it.

You’ll own the software delivery platform behind the Enterprise Analytics squads: designing, securing, automating and operating it across cloud-native and customer-managed on-prem deployments from a single common code base.

• Secure CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
• Automated deployments across Azure, Azure Arc, Azure Stack Hub, Kubernetes and customer-managed environments
• SAST, DAST, SBOMs, artifact signing, secrets and vulnerability management
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep and Helm
• Observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana and centralised logging
• Partnering with Product Engineers, Architects and QA to lift engineering productivity through automation
• Azure/AWS, Azure Arc, Azure Stack Hub and hybrid-cloud deployment experience
• Zero Trust, IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, PKI, secure SDLC and industrial cybersecurity
• Hands-on using AI tools to automate engineering workflows
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related discipline
