Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and build tooling that reduces complexity for development and operations teams. You will improve CI/CD pipelines, containerize apps, and enable scalable infrastructure across a hosted environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in a DevOps position; 3 years' experience in software engineering.
• 2 years' experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Production experience with Kubernetes / EKS.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Familiar with CI tools: CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Experience with configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
• Strong knowledge of orchestrators like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• GIT proficiency; monitoring/logging/APM experience.
• Experience with MySQL, Aurora, and Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve our CI/CD pipeline tools for development teams.
• Collaborate with development teams toward common goals.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Develop infrastructure as code and deploy development environments.
• Containerize applications to improve deployment and resilience.
• Work with development and QA to streamline workflows.
• Ensure scalable infrastructure and disaster recovery readiness.
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests.
• Maintain security benchmarking and access controls.
• Contribute to internal tooling for efficiency and self-service.
