Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Austin, Texas seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to help build and operate enterprise and customer technology systems within IS&T. You will contribute to the delivery pipelines, automation, and reliability of platforms powering billions of transactions and customer experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure CI/CD processes and push-button deployments with zero downtime across large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, and Gradle.
• Strong Java, Go, or Python development skills.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud).

Responsibilities

• Define the build, delivery, and deployment pipeline for applications.
• Provide leadership in implementing a secure, robust DevOps pipeline.

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational excellencethrough automation and engineering processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucialrole in ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes, to deliver best in class and highly available systems.The main responsibilities for this position include:Analyze and evaluate the technology options/feasibility and define the build, delivery,and deployment pipeline for applicationsProvide leadership in implementing a secure, robust and highly available DevOpspipelineAutomate build & deployment processesWork closely with engineers, QA, project managers throughout the software lifecycle inoptimally delivering outstanding, large scale systemsImplement push button deployment at scale with zero downtime

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 3+ years experience
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Git, and automated build systems such as Jenkins and
• Gradle
• Highly skilled at developing and debugging in Java, GoLang or Python
• Hands-on experience with Public Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud

Preferred Qualifications

• Proactive and solution-oriented, keen to automate work by building tools and web
• applications with REST, JSON, or similar protocols
• Experience managing large-scale production infrastructure, including clusters of 100s–
• 1000s of machines and zero-downtime deployments.
• Familiarity with Linux internals, filesystems, and networking, plus web servers and load
• balancers (Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, Envoy)
• Experience managing large-scale production infrastructure, including clusters of 100s–

• Skilled at troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving system and performance issues,
• using tools like Splunk for monitoring and investigation
• Working knowledge of CVEs, OWASP, and cloud security/compliance.
