About the Role:

We’re expanding our team with a solutions-driven DevOps Engineer to work collaboratively with our developers and data engineers to streamline the deployment of microservices, automate infrastructure, and ensure system reliability in Azure. As part of this high-impact team, you’ll design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes environments, and tackle complex challenges around cloud scalability, performance, and resilience.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the delivery of microservices to Kubernetes environments, with a strong preference for Azure DevOps.
• Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Architect and support infrastructure for scalable data ingestion and asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., using technologies like event streaming or message queues).
• Establish and enforce best practices for comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting across the Azure-based solution to ensure system health and performance.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., with tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).
• Collaborate with development and security teams to implement and maintain secure, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex platform and application issues, ensuring rapid resolution and identifying root causes.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of DevOps best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (e.g., 6+ years) in DevOps, with a strong focus on the Azure cloud platform.
• Proven expertise in designing, building, and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for microservice architectures, ideally with experience supporting .NET-based applications.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (specifically Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Experience supporting distributed systems, including infrastructure for data ingestion and asynchronous inter-service communication.
• Strong proficiency in establishing and managing comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies for cloud-native applications (e.g., using Azure Monitor or similar).
• Understanding of relational database management concepts, including database migration strategies, and experience working with relational databases in a cloud environment.
• Demonstrable experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and identity management, particularly within Azure.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor and lead.
