The position requires DoD experience, security clearance, and a background in network and systems automation. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance; higher-level eligibility may be required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• DoD 8140 qualification requirements for the assigned work role (632 Systems Developer, Intermediate).
• Qualifying credentials include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to automate processes and remove repetitive toil.
• Advocate for modern engineering practices and transition legacy workflows.
• Create and maintain network and systems automation tools.
• Automate provisioning and upgrades of network routers and switches.
• Maintain the network CI/CD pipeline using GitLab CI/CD and EVE-NG.
• Develop Python scripts interacting with network APIs.
• Automate lab environments and manage development, test, and production environments.
• Assist engineers with daily workflows, testing, and controlled deployments.
