Job summary

Isar Aerospace seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build a scalable, automated infrastructure across multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) and on-prem environments. You will manage virtualization with VMware Proxmox, operate OpenShift and Kubernetes, and own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps/SRE/Cloud Platform engineering with 3–5+ years in production.
• Strong automation ownership and ability to simplify complex architectures.
• Linux proficiency: Red Hat, Debian.
• Multi-cloud experience: Azure and AWS.
• Experience with virtualization: VMware & Proxmox.
• OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker expertise.
• IaC and automation: Terraform, Ansible, Bicep; scripting: Python/Bash/PowerShell.
• CI/CD tooling: GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD; networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
• Operate and optimize virtualization platforms and private cloud compute.
• Deploy and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes for microservices and AI/data workloads.
• Standardize container packaging and runtime security across Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Own CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable code integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT to remove deployment friction and improve developer experience.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and embed security practices end-to-end.
