Job summary

Apoddo ищет опытного Lead DevOps Engineer для руководства командой DevOps и архитектурной ответственности за развёртывание и modernization нашей облачной инфраструктуры. Вы возьмёте на себя миграцию пайплайнов с TeamCity на AWS CodePipeline и GitHub Actions, а также миграцию workloads в AWS EKS.

Требуется глубокий опыт Terraform, Kubernetes и DevOps практик в банковском секторе, а также умение планировать безотказные релизы и поддерживать высокую доступность систем.

Qualifications

• 5+ лет опыта управления и архитектуры инфраструктуры в AWS (EKS, ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch и пр.)
• 3+ года в роли Tech Lead, руководстве DevOps/Platform или SRE командой
• Продвинутый опыт Terraform, архитектура модульной инфраструктуры и self-service платформ
• Глубокие знания AWS EKS (Kubernetes) в продуктивной среде, миграции workloads ECS → EKS
• Опыт миграции pipelines с TeamCity на GitHub Actions и AWS CodePipeline
• Суточное пересечение часов работы 16:00–19:00 CET/CEST
• Наличие опыта поддержки высокомасштабируемых пайплайнов и знакомство с GitOps и финансовым сектором

Responsibilities

• Руководить командой DevOps, наставлять и устанавливать технические стандарты
• Возглавлять архитектурный переход и миграцию пайплайнов с TeamCity на AWS CodePipeline и GitHub Actions
• Проводить миграцию с AWS ECS на AWS EKS, оптимизируя производительность и стоимость
• Разрабатывать и поддерживать Terraform как сервис и модули
• Разрабатывать стратегии деплоя (blue/green, canary) для безотказных релизов

Описание: We operate a comprehensive, mission-critical data pipeline trusted and utilized by major banks across the United States. We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to direct our DevOps team, modernize our cloud infrastructure, and take full architectural ownership of our deployment ecosystem.

• Lead, mentor, and direct the daily technical work of the DevOps engineering team, setting technical benchmarks and best practices.


• Lead the architectural overhaul and hands-on migration of legacy pipelines from TeamCity to modern workflows using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions.


• Architect and execute migrations from AWS ECS to AWS EKS, optimizing compute performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across our AWS environment.


• Design, implement, and maintain internal "Terraform as a Service" workflows and reusable modules to provide frictionless self-service infrastructure for development teams.


• Design, configure, and maintain robust deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary) ensuring zero-downtime releases and high availability for our enterprise banking clients.


• Work alongside software engineering and data teams to optimize deployment workflows and support high-throughput data processing pipelines.

Требования:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on, in-depth experience managing and architecting infrastructure within AWS (EKS, ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).


• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience acting as a Tech Lead, managing and guiding a DevOps, Platform, or SRE team.


• Advanced production experience with Terraform, specifically architecting modular infrastructure and self-service platform capabilities.


• Deep expertise with AWS EKS (Kubernetes) in production, with demonstrable experience migrating workloads from AWS ECS to EKS.


• Extensive track record building, maintaining, and migrating pipelines from legacy tools like TeamCity to GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.


• Daily working overlap between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM Belgrade time (CET/CEST).


• Будет плюсом: Experience supporting high-volume, enterprise-grade data pipelines or data streaming platforms; Familiarity with financial sector security, governance, and compliance standards; Hands-on experience with GitOps methodologies and tooling (e.g., ArgoCD); Strong scripting and automation capabilities in Python, Go, or Bash
