DB Systel develops data and AI solutions, including data engineering, analytics, data governance, data platforms, and AI-powered applications. Together with Deutsche Bahn’s business units, it enables data-driven decisions and digital innovation across the group.

Задачи:

• Design the DevOps architecture for applications and platforms in the Data & AI environment, and ensure their sustainable development and stable operation
• Conceptualize, implement, and continuously optimize scalable CI/CD environments, including automation and quality strategies throughout the software lifecycle
• Advance the use of Infrastructure as Code and develop future-proof cloud and platform architectures using modern technologies
• Support the integration of new applications and platform components into existing systems and their successful production launch as a technical contact
• Develop and establish best practices for monitoring, logging, observability, testing, and documentation to ensure reliable, highly available operations
• Analyze complex incidents and performance issues, and define lasting measures to improve platform stability, security, and efficiency
• Contribute expertise to projects and product teams, advise stakeholders on technical issues, and support the professional development of other team members

Требования:

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field, or equivalent qualifications with many years of relevant professional experience
• Several years of practical experience in DevOps and in designing, operating, and developing complex applications, platforms, or cloud solutions
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud technologies, ideally AWS or Azure, and extensive experience with CI/CD tools, container technologies, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as Terraform or Amazon CDK
• Very good Python skills and experience automating operational and development processes
• Experience with infrastructure for AI development and deployment, including AWS Bedrock, Sagemaker, MCP Server, model APIs, and agent systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Strong ownership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and sharing knowledge
• Very good spoken and written German
