SimIS is currently recruiting for the listed position and is contingent upon award. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer II, in this role, you'll contribute to our core business operations by implementing DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while working with modern cloud technologies. As a senior team member, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior developers while collaborating with customers on cloud migration strategies. This position offers hands-on experience with Cloud Native application development and the chance to work with multiple cloud platforms in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The candidate performs the following specific assignments:

• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
• Lead cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure deployments
• Mentor junior developers in DevOps practices and cloud technologies
• Design and implement cloud-native applications
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code
• Implement security and compliance requirements in cloud environments
• Collaborate with customers on migration strategies
• Support multiple cloud platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 2-4 years of Linux administration experience
• 2-4 years of DevOps experience
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience Desired:
