6AM City, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer I to support a large-scale content delivery platform. The role centers on Linux administration, automation, and SRE practices to improve reliability and deployment efficiency.

Responsibilities include deploying production infrastructure, troubleshooting Linux and application issues, and building automation for pipelines. On-call rotations and collaboration with engineering teams are expected to ensure service performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of systems, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and web technologies.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, OSI Model).
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, or KVM.
• Knowledge of client/server architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
