Job summary
University of Maryland’s Applied Research Lab for Intelligence & Security (ARLIS) seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure cloud and on‑prem environments for research and ML workloads. You will implement infrastructure as code, pipelines, and self‑service workflows to accelerate researchers’ access to computing resources.
You will collaborate with researchers, software developers, IT staff, and security personnel to ensure reliable, compliant systems and support ARLIS
Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design, automate, and maintain secure cloud and on-prem environments for research and software development.
- Develop infrastructure as code and self-service workflows to access computing resources.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring to support ARLIS research objectives.
