Job summary

Exceptionly Inc. offers a 100% remote DevOps Engineer role with 3-month onboarding and occasional client-site travel. You will manage Kubernetes-based Elasticsearch deployments in EKS, implement RBAC/ABAC security, automate cluster operations, and drive performance improvements across distributed environments.

• Around 6-7 years of experience in a DevOps/Cloud role.
• Willingness to travel to client locations occasionally.
• Kubernetes with Elastic Search expertise; Elastic Search must be deployed in EKS.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and reconfiguring clusters with ML support.
• Implementing security controls with RBAC, ABAC and IP filtering.
• Automating cluster deployment, snapshot and restore processes.
• Performance tuning for storage, documents and indices in a Hot-Warm architecture.
• Fleet server and Elastic Agent deployment, monitoring and visualization.

Daily Life of DevOps Engineer

• Reviewing existing cluster and reconfiguring with ML support.
• Choosing the right instance type.
• Implementing Security Control with RBAC,ABAC and IP filtering.
• Improving the performance for read and write/bulk operations.
• Performance Tuning (Storage, Documents and Indices) using Hot-Warm Architecture.
• Stack Monitoring(data streaming, nodes).
• Multiple Event log Source Integrations.
• Plan for growth and Forecast.
• Automating Cluster deployment, snapshot and restoring.
• Fleet Server & Elastic Agent deployment
• Visualisations and Reports Generation.
• Elastic Search version 8.8 Upgrade .
