Job summary

Exceptionly Inc. is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer for a full-time, 100% remote role. You will review clusters, optimize performance, and implement RBAC/ABAC with Elastic Search on EKS for client projects. Onboarding includes a one-week stay in Chennai.

Ideal candidates have 6-7 years of DevOps experience, Kubernetes and Elastic Search expertise, and the flexibility to travel occasionally to client locations as projects scale.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in DevOps/elastic search engineering.
• Kubernetes with Elastic Search expertise; Elastic Search deployed in EKS.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Review existing cluster and reconfigure with ML support.
• Choose the right instance type.
• Implement security controls with RBAC, ABAC and IP filtering.
• Improve performance for read and write/bulk operations.
• Perform tuning for storage, documents and indices using a hot-warm architecture.
• Automate cluster deployment, snapshot and restoration.

Work Condition: 3 month duration (could be extended). Full-time, 8hrs per day / 160 hrs per month. The candidate should be at the office in Chennai for 1 week in the initial onboarding process (accommodation provided).

• Visualisations and Reports Generation.
• Elastic Search version 8.8 Upgrade .
