BAE Systems in Gloucester or Manchester is seeking a DevOps Engineer (eDV Cleared) to join Digital Intelligence. The role centres on building automation, cloud platforms and secure, reliable delivery across multiple National Security subaccounts.

You will join an agile, multidisciplinary team, contributing to secure deployment pipelines, platform engineering and site reliability initiatives. The role requires on-site presence and a strong emphasis on automation and security.

Qualificações

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to automate infrastructure, software delivery and operations via code.
• Experience configuring and managing cloud platforms (public or private).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools.
• Experience with source control and configuration-management practices.
• Ability to embed security in development and delivery processes.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, building and maintaining automation for software and infrastructure deployment and operation.
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Creating repeatable deployment, scaling and configuration methods for applications.
• Building and maintaining cloud environments (public or private).
• Deploying and operating containerised apps and orchestration platforms.
• Applying configuration management to infrastructure and deployment artefacts.
• Configuring, hardening and maintaining operating systems and infrastructure.
• Using scripting to reduce repetitive work and improve delivery reliability.
• Diagnosing issues across infrastructure, apps, networks and databases.
