Job summary

Tenet3 is seeking a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work on IaC, CI/CD, and observability, ensuring secure, reliable software delivery across multi-environment setups.

Lead automation efforts, manage secrets and IAM with least-privilege access, and collaborate with developers to support robust delivery pipelines. Dayton, Ohio-based role with strong growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional engineering experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
Proficiency in IaC and orchestration tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and scripting (Python, Bash).
Hands-on with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana).
Experience managing secrets and cloud IAM with least-privilege enforcement.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure-as-code for secure cloud deployments.
Build and refactor CI/CD pipelines to accelerate feature delivery and reduce debt.
Configure and manage observability dashboards and proactive alerting.
Respond to production issues with root cause analysis and postmortems.
Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
Document designs, runbooks, and SOPs for team alignment.
Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Design, provision, and maintain core cloud network topologies across environments.
