Job summary

Concept Plus is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support DoD and federal IT environments from its Fairfax, VA location. The role emphasizes secure CI/CD pipelines, multi‑cloud deployments, and modern Java-based stacks within Agile, DevSecOps practices.

You will collaborate with Cloud Engineering, QA, security, and PMO teams to ensure reliable deployment, secure configurations, and scalable performance across development and operations.

Qualifications

• Secret – Fully Cleared Only; active clearance required.
• DoD 8140 intermediate or DoD 8570 IAM Level II or higher.
• US Citizens Only
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, system engineering, or cloud engineering roles
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure Government, or Cloud One environments)
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git-based workflows)
• Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, NIST 800-53

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Work with DevSecOps and Agile environments to enable iterative delivery.
• Administer cloud-based platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI) and multi‑cloud setups.
• Hands‑on with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure delivery.
