Job summary

KPA in Westminster, CO is seeking a DevOps Engineer to oversee infrastructure, code integration, and deployment automation. The successful candidate has experience in at least one cloud provider creating build and deployment solutions for various applications that meet modern DevSecOps standards, and collaborates cross-functionally to drive DevOps culture.

You will work closely with a small team of DevOps/SR Engineers, Security, QA, Developers, DBE/DBA, and Systems to ensure smooth development

Qualifications

5+ years experience in DevOps or related IT/operations field.
Experience with Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET.
Git as SCM tool; scripting experience (PowerShell welcome).
CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Octopus, GitHub.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test build, deployment, and configuration management solutions.
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
Manage CI and CD processes, tools, and configurations with the team.
Contribute ideas to improve development delivery and DevOps practices.
Provide guidance on DevOps methodologies and best practices.
Develop and maintain IaC (Terraform) and CaC (Packer, Chef).
Monitor metrics (Datadog) and improve observability and visibility.
Create and maintain documentation for build and deployment processes.
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and demos.
Create PoCs and prototypes for varied technical initiatives.
