Job summary

UST is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage source control workflows, and deploy containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes. You will administer Artifactory, implement monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus, and automate infrastructure tasks.

Role located in Hillsboro, Oregon, with emphasis on securing infrastructure via secret management and RBAC, plus working with Kafka for event-driven architectures.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) with automated build, test, and deploy workflows.
• Manage source control workflows and branching (Git/GitHub) across projects.
• Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer Artifactory and implement versioning and access control.
• Set up monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus and analyze logs.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and OS provisioning automation.
• Manage VMs, storage, and network shares; handle service accounts.
• Support Kafka-based messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Implement secret management, RBAC, and certificate management.
• Troubleshoot pipelines, deployments, and infrastructure issues.
