Job summary

TheIncLab is seeking a DevOps Engineer to architect and sustain CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications with automated, secure, and scalable processes. You will work across cloud, container, and code-repository ecosystems to shorten cycle times and improve reliability.

Applicants should have 3+ years in software engineering with containerized apps and 2+ years in DevOps, plus hands-on experience with GitLab CI/Jenkins and AWS. Hybrid work options are available in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Engineering focusing on containerized web apps.
• 2+ years DevOps experience, Kubernetes administration preferred.
• Proven experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Travis, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Experience deploying pipelines on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Git and automated workflows driven by code changes.
• Proficiency with shell scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with Docker containers (Alpine, Windows images).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deployment of web applications to production.
• Utilize AWS and other clouds to deploy pipelines and integrate with repos and artifacts.
• Automate CI/CD workflows triggered by code changes (branch updates).
• Troubleshoot build issues to ensure reliability.
• Integrate security frameworks and automated tests for code quality.
• Improve CI/CD processes through new tools and infrastructure.
• Report metrics on CI/CD reliability and performance.
• Promote Agile practices and align team milestones.
• Lead best-practices for DevOps within the engineering org.
