Job summary

For Every Human in Sacramento, CA seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to support development, deployment, automation, and maintenance of reliable software systems and infrastructure. The role collaborates with software, IT, and security teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, automate provisioning with Terraform/Ansible, and deploy containers with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, cloud infra, SRE, or sysadmin.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Proficient in Linux and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and security basics.
• Git or other version control experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance, availability, logs, and health of systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Implement security, access controls, secrets management, and backups.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve release management and reliability.
• Maintain documentation and configurations.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and resource usage.
• Follow change-management and security practices.
