Job summary

ECI’s Global Technology team seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to support multiple client systems from our Midtown Manhattan office. This full-time role requires excellent communication, a positive attitude, and professionalism.

Fluency in English is required, and you must reside within commutable distance to Midtown Manhattan. The candidate will drive automated CI/CD pipelines, monitor and improve pipelines, and lead incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Fully automated CI/CD pipelines design and implementation.
• Experience with distributed systems and scaling.
• Excellent programming, SQL, and scripting skills.
• In-depth coding experience in PowerShell and with Connectwise required - please have this listed on your resume
• In-depth coding experience in Golang/Java, Scripting experience in Perl/Python is preferred
• In-depth experience with a variety of logging/system dashboard tools
• Hands-on experience with providing technical leadership to DevOps teams
• Experience with leading on-call responsibilities and addressing production issues
• Experience with leading escalation management for production outages
• Experience on GIT, Ansible, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of automated/continuous build, deploy and release processes.
• Design and drive fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead monitoring, debugging, and enhancement of pipelines for performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Escalation management for production issues.
• Define and measure KPIs for operational excellence.
• Write load tests per service and run them regularly.
• Automate testing procedures and recurring tasks.
• Maintain deployment pipelines for infrastructure as code.
• Provide technical support to development teams on tools and build environments.
• Manage JIRA, Confluence, and related Atlassian tooling.
