Job summary

Wellfit seeks an Azure DevOps Engineer to design and manage Azure-based production systems, automate deployment pipelines, and optimize operations. The role emphasizes collaboration, security, and scalable cloud infrastructure within a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates will have strong Linux/Unix administration, Terraform IaC expertise, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver reliable, secure services in a healthcare technology context.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with Azure—CLI, Portal, App Service.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and processes.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring and alerting.
• Polyglot mindset in coding and scripting languages.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data management.

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Azure.
• Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage Azure cloud-based production systems, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
• Build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
• Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services.
• System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
• Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with Azure, including Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and Azure App Service.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring and alerting is a plus.
• Ability to code and script in multiple languages (a polyglot mindset).
• Experience with system and IT operations; comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Strong grasp of automation tools.
• Data management skills with an understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• A strong focus on business outcomes.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders.
