Provide direct technical assistance to key business users and support vendor and custom applications
Maintain build processes, deployment strategies, and process automation
Install and coordinate patches and releases across development, test, and production systems
Improve application delivery using containers, orchestration, and configuration management tools
Assist business teams and vendors with application installations and upgrades
Support and maintain application infrastructure including servers, network topology, authentication, and high availability
Administer segregation of duties support - manage server access, accounts, audit controls, and reports
Stay current on technologies, recommend strategies and tools
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, documenting key decisions, risks, and issues
Work independently with ownership over all applications and responsibilities
Provide after-hours support for business-critical projects and tasks
5+ years of relevant experience with application support and development
3+ years of experience using DevOps practices, tools, and frameworks
Experience supporting applications in multi-tiered environments using Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and load balancing
Ability to identify potential software enhancements, analyze user needs, and recommend improvements to business processes
Quickly learn new skills and technologies
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Enterprise
Experience with build and dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant
Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Bash, or JavaScript
Experience with source control systems such as Git or SVN
Experience with Microsoft T-SQL or PL/SQL
