Description:
An exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to support the modernization and scalability of mission-critical, cloud-native data and AI platforms. You will work alongside data architects, AI/ML engineers, and platform teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring frameworks for large-scale data platforms, enabling LLMs, intelligent assistants, and real-time analytics. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about automation, cloud operations, and building secure, scalable systems in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering, AI/ML, and platform services (e.g., using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably on AWS EKS).
  • Ensure secure, scalable cloud-native deployments across AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, IAM).
  • Support the deployment and scaling of data processing tools such as Apache Flink, Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.
  • Manage monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
  • Collaborate with data and AI teams to ensure seamless integration of ML models and real-time analytics pipelines.
  • Assist in implementing data governance, security, and compliance practices at the infrastructure level.
  • Lead performance tuning and cost optimization of cloud-based workloads.
  • Maintain high availability and reliability standards for production systems.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or other major cloud providers.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with event streaming and data processing platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or Spark.
  • Familiarity with data lake, data mesh, or lakehouse architectures is an asset.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.) and scripting (Bash, Python, or Groovy).
  • Understanding of security best practices for DevOps, including IAM, network policies, and secrets management.
  • Solid experience supporting ML workflows, vector databases, or AI infrastructure (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
