Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to develop automation scripts and maintain CI/CD pipelines. The role requires collaboration with trading and development teams to enhance system efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience in Python, SQL, and DevOps practices, including Terraform and Ansible. This position follows a unique 4 days on, 4 days off rotation covering US evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
• Experience in a DevOps role is essential.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize IaC tools for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to reduce bottlenecks.
• Monitor systems and build metrics and alerts.
• Troubleshoot real-time operational issues.
