Job summary

The Josef Group seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design and maintain infrastructure powering data aggregation and compliance services, ensuring reliability and scalability within customer environments.

Responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments with Kubernetes/Rancher, and monitoring workloads with Grafana/Prometheus. Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Kubernetes, Rancher, and AWS proficiency.
• Monitoring stacks: Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic APM.
• Experience building compliant systems for customers.
• Bonus: NiFi and dataflow tools.

Description

This is a brand new, high-priority project. This team will be responsible for aggregating data sources to create a clear picture of what infrastructure was requested, what infrastructure was deployed, and proactively alert on any discrepancies. The team's application will then be used by subject matter experts to investigate, create, and iterate on best practices and deployment rules. Then, the team will proactively identify and alert when requested or provisioned infrastructure breaks those best practices and rules. This team must interact with many stakeholders from across the organization and iterate as frequently as possible. As a DevOps-focused Software Engineer, you will design and maintain the infrastructure that powers aggregation and compliance services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with customer environments.
