Capgemini in West Lake, TX is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our global technology team. You will optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and develop Python REST APIs while working across Linux/Unix environments.

Ideal candidates bring deep AWS knowledge, strong scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy), and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Datadog. Collaborative communication and problem-solving are essential.

Job Responsibliteis:
  • 7+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, demonstrating progressive growth and leadership in previous roles.

  • Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, EKS, ECS, Lambda, IAM, etc.) and extensive experience with CloudFormation.

  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining Python REST APIs using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.

  • Mastery of scripting languages: Python (must-have), Bash (must-have), and Groovy (highly preferred).

  • Experience with SQL, demonstrating the ability to integrate diverse technologies.

  • Proven experience with a wide range of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $61087 - $104364

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
