Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will lead DevOps initiatives, build scalable CI/CD pipelines, and maintain Python REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI.

Deep knowledge of AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog will be essential to deliver reliable cloud-native solutions. The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong Unix/Linux skills, and excellent collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer and leadership in prior roles.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2/S3/EKS/ECS/Lambda/IAM) and CloudFormation.
  • Experience developing Python REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments; scripting in Python, Bash, and Groovy.
  • Experience with SQL and integrating diverse technologies.
  • Strong CI/CD expertise with Jenkins and related tools.
  • Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging using Datadog.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DevOps initiatives and drive reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain Python REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and related tools.
  • Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
