Role Overview: DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for amid-level DevOps Engineerwho can hit the ground running and grow alongside a fast-moving iGaming team. You’ll be the first person fully focused on DevOps, laying the groundwork for infrastructure best practices and collaborating with development, QA, and data teams. There's strong potential to evolve this role into aDevSecOpsposition, so a keen interest in security is a plus.

You won’t be responsible for product code — but you should be comfortablereading and understanding developer code, debugging deployment issues, and facilitating CI/CD processes.

This role suits someone with a systems or network administration background who has transitioned into DevOps, and thrives in environments whereownership, flexibility, and adaptabilityare essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manageephemeral test environmentsto support QA and feature testing workflows
• ImproveCI/CD pipelinesto reduce bottlenecks and increase automation
• Overseecloud-based deployments, ensuring performance, stability, and security
• Work withDocker-based containerizationacross development and staging systems
• Automate provisioning and teardown usingInfrastructure-as-Codetools (e.g., Terraform)
• Collaborate with developers and QA to support rapid development and testing cycles
• Help define and implementDevSecOps practicesas the company scales
• Support and monitor databases and cloud-native services (in collaboration with a dedicated DBA)
• Document internal tools and infrastructure to support onboarding and scalability

Qualifications:

• 3–4 yearsof experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering
• Prior experience withAWS(Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, EC2)
• Proficiency withDocker, scripting (Bash, Python, or Node.js), and CI/CD tooling
• Exposure toTerraformor similar IaC tools
• Comfortable working in environments withTypeScript/Node.jsstacks
• Ability toread developer codeand troubleshoot deployment or integration issues
• Interest insecurity best practicesand willingness to contribute to a DevSecOps culture
• Lifelong learning mindset with a flexible approach to scheduling — urgent work may arise unexpectedly
• Strong communicator, collaborative mindset, and self-motivated in remote environments
