About the Role

As a MARi DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in fully utilizing emerging AI capabilities to ensure the security and integrity of our cutting-edge AI SaaS platform. We are a small but dynamic team operating in a fully remote environment where someone with strong desire to learn and contribute will have significant growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our talented development and operations teams to integrate security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies within our CI/CD pipelines.
• Learning to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities through code reviews, security assessments, and automated testing.
• Supporting the monitoring of our systems for security threats and participating in incident response activities.
• Contributing to the development and enforcement of FedRAMP security policies, standards, and documentation.
• Embracing automation to streamline security processes and enhance our overall security posture.
• Staying curious and up-to-date with the latest DevSecOps trends, tools, and security threats.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a US government security clearance.
• Must be able to work in an Eastern US time zone schedule. Preferably live in the US Eastern time zone.
• A foundational understanding of DevSecOps principles and the importance of shifting security left.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (with a preference for GCP) and containerization technologies (GKE, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Some experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• An understanding of common security vulnerabilities, networking concepts, and security best practices.
• A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
