Job summary

Paladin Consulting is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a DIRECT HIRE role in The Woodlands, TX. The position combines onsite work with occasional remote days to manage modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities include migrating from Octopus Deploy/TeamCity to GitHub Actions, maintaining CI/CD infrastructure, and automating deployment processes with IaC tools. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and related tooling.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and IaC tools (Terraform/ArgoCD).

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of applications from Octopus Deploy/TeamCity to GitHub Actions using migration frameworks.
• Support and maintain self-hosted GitHub Actions runner infrastructure and CI/CD components.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable workflows and automation to improve deployment efficiency.

• Support GitHub Enterprise administration, governance, security, and optimization.
• Develop runbooks, rollback procedures, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with platform, data, and application teams to ensure reliable pipelines.

• Support and maintain self-hosted GitHub Actions runner infrastructure and related CI/CD platform components.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable workflows, templates, and automation solutions that improve deployment efficiency and consistency.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code resources, deployment configurations, and operational documentation.
• Partner with development teams to modernize build, release, and deployment processes.
• Support GitHub Enterprise administration, governance, security, and platform optimization efforts.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, rollback procedures, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with platform, data, and application teams to ensure reliable and scalable delivery pipelines.
