Job summary

Vartech Systems seeks an experienced architect to design and oversee cloud-native platforms on AWS, focusing on reliability, security, and scalability. You will lead building production-grade EKS environments and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for Java-based services, leveraging Jenkins, Maven, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

Lambda automation and Golang-based components will be part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering is required.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is expected.
• Strong focus on reliability, security, and scalability in cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design multiple applications and platform components on AWS.

Job description

Architect and design multiple applications and platform components on AWS, working closely with engineering teams from design through production. Design, build, and operate production-grade Amazon EKS platforms supporting multiple microservices with a strong focus on reliability, security, and scalability. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Javabasedapplications using Jenkins, Maven, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes and Ansible. Develop AWS Lambda automations to optimize non-production cloud costs. Support and debug Golang-based Kubernetes components, working closely with engineering teams. Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) is required. Work location: Schaumburg,IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
