Job summary

VDart seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Linux-based infrastructure in Reston, VA. You will build and maintain scalable CI/CD workflows, automate deployments, and support cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk). Strong networking and security fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience administering GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• IaC tooling such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog or Splunk.
• Knowledge of networking, security, SSL, DNS, and load balancing concepts.
• Experience with version control and branching strategies.
