Job summary

RiVi Consulting Group L.L.C is seeking a senior deployment engineer to perform customer deployments with a broad set of automation and cloud skills.

You will work on container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher), cloud APIs (Azure, AWS), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD (GitLab-CI, Jenkins).

The role requires networking, security, scripting (bash, Python), Linux, and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Senior deployment engineer with hands-on enterprise deployment experience.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Rancher.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation using shell (bash/sh) and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab-CI and Terraform/Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer deployments end-to-end across environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues across systems and networks.
• Mentor junior engineers and document deployment processes.
• Coordinate with networking and security teams during projects.

Job description

Act as a "deployment engineer" and perform the customer deployment with required skill set:

• 
  Experience with containerization, specifically Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Ranche
• rUnderstanding of Cloud APIs and Cloud technologies specifically Azure & AW
• STerraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, or equivalent tool
• sExperience with Zarf to support Air gapped deploymen
• tExperience with networking and network/system security, Storage, including firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, monitoring, security, and DN
• SExperience with shell scripting - sh/bash/ks
• hExperience with open-source tools (Linux, Python, Git, Ansible
• )Experience with system automation at the enterprise level, distributed environment
• sSenior-level system administration experience, including troubleshooting, support, mentorship/training, and oversigh
• tAbility to adopt and extend continuous integration and testing processes, GitLab-CI experience preferre
• dAbility to manage goals, track milestones, and report on the status
