Collabera is seeking a DevOps engineer to join our Midtown Manhattan team to design, build, and operate the internal developer platform used by 100+ applications. You will focus on deployment automation, reliability, and scalable cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes and Terraform-based workflows.

• Our client is seeking a DevOps engineer to join their team in Midtown Manhattan.
• This team builds and operates the internal developer platform, which currently supports more than 100 applications.
• They create the framework and standardized tools that application developers use to deploy, monitor, scale, and secure their applications while simplifying the complexities of Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• The team also supports advanced capabilities such as multi-region deployments, disaster recovery, and autoscaling, while exploring how generative AI can improve developer productivity.
• Their work is centered on reliability, security, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Mission:

• You will own well-scoped features through the development lifecycle — from understanding a user's needs and contributing to the design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring. With guidance from experienced teammates, you will work across different parts of the platform, including command-line tooling, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• You will use modern development practices and AI tools, while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and technical judgment. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving practical engineering problems, learning across application and infrastructure domains, and building tools that improve the experience of other developers.

Day-to-Day:

• Design, build, and enhance capabilities across the ecosystem, deployment automation, and supporting platform services

• Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to accelerate implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation

• Familiarity with cloud computing, containerization, or modern application deployment concepts
• Ability to take ownership of well-defined work, identify risks, and ask for guidance when requirements or technical decisions are unclear
