Red Arch Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to support modernization and deployment of a government information system. The role emphasizes GitLab CI/CD, Nexus Repository management, and building Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production.

You will automate deployments, manage artifacts, and lead infrastructure upgrades across Windows Server environments while migrating to AWS. Expertise in Windows Server, AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform) and IaC is essential,

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in systems or IT related roles with similar scope and responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Nexus Repository management experience is required.
• Building and maintaining Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production environments is required.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration is required.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform) is required.
• Infrastructure-as-code practices are required.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance which requires US citizenship is required.

Red Arch is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our team!

Position Detail:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the modernization and deployment of a critical government information system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Nexus Repository management, and building and maintaining Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production environments.

You will be responsible for automating deployment processes, managing artifact repositories, and orchestrating infrastructure upgrades across Windows Server environments while planning the migration path to AWS cloud infrastructure. Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform), and infrastructure-as-code practices are essential. Experience with containerization strategies for Java applications, configuration management tools, and implementing security controls in both on-premises VMware and cloud environments is highly valued.

Position Responsibilities:

CI/CD & Automation:
