Job summary

Lentech, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer to drive the Secure the Enterprise initiative by moving from a manual security evaluation and authorization process to an automated, streamlined model with continuous monitoring and data gathering across the full project lifecycle.

You will enable automation for infrastructure management, CI/CD, environment configuration and deployment while supporting compliance and security posture to empower other teams to operate smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required or four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted.
• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD is required.
• 7 years of experience as software developer/DevOps or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.
• The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment as well as supporting the project’s compliance and security posture.
• The team member shall focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.

Required:

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
• 7 YOE as software developer/DevOps

Required (*Need to have 1 of these qualifications*):

• Linux system administration (Centos7, RedHat8)
• Docker
• Python scripting
• AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience
• GitLab Pipeline
• Ansible Pipeline
• NiFi

Desired:

• Elasticsearch
• Cloud hosting and automation

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
