Job summary

Global Payments seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. You will manage orchestration platforms, monitor performance, and enhance security across environments, enabling reliable, observable systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will collaborate with a global team, contribute to automation initiatives, and support deployments in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years IT experience with complex technology solutions.

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our ever evolving Sytems Development team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.

Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

Monitor and maintain QA automation/robotic testing lab

Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions.

Enhance security and compliance across infrastructure and pipelines.

Improve system reliability through automation and observability.

Maintain and evolve container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Warm).

Implement, maintain and improve platforms, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities by using a variety of tools

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline

Typically Minimum of 2 years years of experience in IT with expertise in complex technology solutions

It’s a bonus if you have:

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.

Experience with pipeline technology (Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOPs)

Experience in QA
