Job summary

ICIMS, Inc. is hiring a DevOps Engineer to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and optimize deployment workflows across a multi-cloud SaaS platform.

You will enable developer productivity, automate provisioning and configuration, and support monitoring and incident response while collaborating with engineering teams to push improvements across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS; Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools

• Support migration from legacy deployment methods to modern practices
• Development Support
• Provide tooling and automation to improve developer productivity
• Maintain development and staging environments
• Support containerization of applications and services
• Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment requirements and optimization
• Monitoring & Operations
• Implement monitoring and alerting for deployment pipelines and infrastructure
• Support capacity planning and resource optimization efforts
• Participate in incident response for deployment-related issues
• Document procedures andmaintainrunbooks for operational tasks

Qualifications

• 5+yearsofexperiencein Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 3+ years of experience inDevOps
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWSrequired, Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Proficiencywith infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies

Preferred

• Experience with Java applications and Spring Boot deployments
• Knowledge of database deployment and migration automation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with secrets management and security scanning tools
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and CDN configurations

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000 USD annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
