Job summary

The Swift Group in Herndon, VA is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple teams. You will automate with CloudFormation and Ansible, manage scripts in GitHub, and support security controls while monitoring infrastructure and Jenkins pipelines.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of DevOps experience, strong Linux and Bash skills, and can obtain TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Experience managing Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs) and auto-scale groups with AWS EC2.
• Experience setting up alarms, dashboards, and alerts with AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience managing files and permissions in AWS S3.
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CloudFormation using YAML templates.
• Strong Linux troubleshoot skills.
• Bash scripting experience.
• Ability to set up, build, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Ansible for server automation.
• Strong knowledge of git and version control for IaC in GitHub.
• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure for multiple development teams.
• Utilize CloudFormation and Ansible to automate deployment of the entire infrastructure.
