Job summary

MTN Global is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our Software Engineering team in Fort Lauderdale. You will design and automate the infrastructure powering modern cloud platforms, collaborating with software engineers to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC with Terraform, across high‑volume, real‑time systems. You will automate deployments, monitor health, and enhance logging and security while supporting 24/7 production environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Experience managing cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
  • Strong networking fundamentals.
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our software platforms. You’ll work closely with Software Engineers to improve reliability, scalability, security, and deployment automation.
