Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will automate provisioning with IaC, collaborate on CICD pipelines, and ensure security and disaster recovery align with government workload requirements.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, automation development, and rigorous adherence to FedRAMP/NIST standards, supporting staging and production across multiple clouds.

Qualifications

• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation).
• Experience across AWS, Azure and GCP, including government workloads and compliance.
• Knowledge of security standards (FedRAMP, NIST) and regulatory requirements.
• Experience building and optimizing CICD pipelines (GitLab).
• Ability to design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management across multi-cloud environments.
• Monitor performance, plan capacity, and optimize configurations to prevent bottlenecks.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate routine ops (patching, scaling, monitoring).
• Design and implement self-healing capabilities to detect and resolve faults.
• Manage data integrity and availability through robust backup and DR strategies.

Job description

Cloud Infrastructure Management Deploy| manage| andmaintain cloud infrastructure across AWS| Azure| and or GCP| ensuring compliance for government workloads.

Infrastructure Automation

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform| OpenTofu | or AWS CloudFormation. Deployment Pipeline Streamlining Collaborate with development teams to streamline CICD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and OpenTofu for efficient infrastructure and application delivery.

Performance Optimization

Monitor system performance| participate in capacity planning| and optimize application and infrastructure performance by tuning configurations and identifying bottlenecks.

Automation Development

Develop scripts and tools to automate routine operations| including patching| scaling| and monitoring. Self-Healing Systems Design and implement self-healing systems that proactively detect and resolve faults.

Data Integrity Availability

Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability across environments.

Security Compliance

Perform regular security audits and vulnerability patching| adhering to government compliance requirements (e.g.| FedRAMP| NIST).
