Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Azure DevOps: hands-on experience managing organizations, repos, pipelines and artifacts.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure core services (VMs, App Services, AKS, Networking, Azure SQL).
Programming & scripting in C# and Python for automation and pipelines.
Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
Git mastery including branching strategies and PR workflows in Azure Repos.
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Experience with databases, SQL, and CI/CD deployments.

Responsibilities

Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML and Classic).
Standardize infrastructure deployments using Terraform or ARM templates.
Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and gates into release pipelines.
Manage configuration across environments with Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor and App Insights.
Drive containerization and deployments to AKS.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across systems.

What You Bring to the Table

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Azure DevOps Expertise: Deep hands-on experience managing Azure DevOps organizations, repositories, build/release pipelines, and artifacts.
Cloud Infrastructure: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure core services (VMs, App Services, AKS, Networking, and Azure SQL).
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in C# and Python for automation, scripting, and pipeline integration.
Containerization: Practical experience or strong openness to working with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Version Control: Mastery of Git, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository management within Azure Repos.
Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management and automation software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Databases & Data Systems: Working knowledge of databases, SQL, and managing database deployments via CI/CD.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a collaborative, teamwork-focused mindset.

Job Responsibilities

Architect and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and optimize automated build and release pipelines within Azure DevOps (YAML and Classic) to ensure seamless application and data deployments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize and manage infrastructure deployments using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to ensure repeatable, secure environments.
Automate Deployment & Testing: Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates directly into the Azure DevOps release pipelines.
Environment Configuration & Automation: Manage and optimize automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) alongside Azure Pipelines to handle complex configuration management across environments.
System Monitoring & Reliability: Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Containerization & Orchestration: Drive the adoption of containerized workflows using Docker and manage deployments to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Troubleshoot & Optimize: Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Ensure Scalability & Security: Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure system reliability, high availability, and adherence to security best practices.
