Job summary

Energy Transfer LP’s Enterprise BI team seeks an IT Specialist to own the DevOps/DataOps platform that governs Databricks asset deployments. You will build and evolve GitHub Enterprise and Terraform foundations, create reusable workflows, and enforce CI/CD guardrails for reliable data product deployments.

You’ll onboard IT and citizen developers to the governed platform, maintain security and governance, and coordinate incidents and changes within ITIL-aligned processes, leveraging ServiceNow

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years building and operating DevOps/DataOps platforms.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IAM, RBAC, Key Vault and Unity Catalog.
• Proficiency in Python and YAML-based provisioning.
• Ability to onboard and support enterprise developer teams.

Responsibilities

• Own, operate, and continuously improve the Enterprise BI DevOps/DataOps platform supporting Azure Databricks.
• Engineer the GitHub Enterprise and Terraform foundations, reusable workflows, controls, and configuration‑as‑code.
• Enable Databricks deployments through DAB standards, templates, validation, CI/CD and guardrails.
• Build reusable automation, agents, skills, recipes, and tooling for developer teams.
• Support Enterprise BI developers by removing platform impediments and enabling self‑service.
• Onboard IT and citizen-developer teams to the governed platform within the data mesh.
• Maintain platform reliability, security, and governance across Unity Catalog, identities, policies, monitoring.
• Manage incidents, changes in ServiceNow with ITIL-aligned processes.
