Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to lead CI/CD automation across Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will design scalable pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure robust observability across cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with developers to optimize cloud platform automation, improve uptime, and simplify debugging experiences for engineers while upholding high reliability and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools and orchestrators (Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell and Go.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code patterns and tools (ARM, Terraform, GitOps).
• Experience across multi-cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (AKS/GKE) or native Kubernetes; Unix system admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps best practices, automate and optimize critical deployments in Azure and OCI cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with team to develop features and improvements for cloud platform automation (cost optimization, integrations, automation enhancements).
• Maintain 99.99 uptime for Ship platforms.
• Simplify developers' debugging experience by adopting enterprise-wide tooling.
• Build, operationalize, and maintain CI/CD solutions for customers.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

• Good Experience in CI/CD Tools/Orchestrators (Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in the following technologies: Python, PowerShell & Go
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code patterns & tools (e.g. ARM, Terraform, GitOps)
• Proficiency with Multi cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Working on at least one Kubernetes cloud offering (AKS/GKE) or on-prem Kubernetes (native Kubernetes)
• Experience with Unix platforms, system administration skills in UNIX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead DevOps best practices, automate, and optimizing critical deployments in Azure & OCI Cloud Platforms
• Work with the team to develop features and improvements targeting cloud platform automation (e.g., cost optimization, integrations, automation enhancements, proof-of-concept/prototype work)
• Responsible for the 99.99 uptime of the Ship platforms.
• Strong desire to simplify the developers debug experience by adopting and on boarding the right tools across the enterprise.
• Build, operationalize, and maintain CI/CD solutions for our technology customers
• Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned applications, functional areas or projects
• Build, maintain, and support enterprise production systems with a business mindset, keeping an eye towards simplicity, reliability, maintainability, scalability, extensibility and performance
• Drive resolution of operational and production issues in a timely manner.
