Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Cloud, Infrastructure, DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions for defense and security programs in a fast-paced team environment.

You will work on architecture, deployment, and automation across cloud platforms, collaborating with IT security to ensure compliant, secure operations and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or related field required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, or Security.
• 2+ years network and operating system experience.
• 2+ years experience with container management (OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker).
• Experience with Git-based source control and issue tracking (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD security clearance preferred.

Summary The Cloud, Infrastructure, DevSecOps Engineer position will focus on all aspects of design, analysis, implementation and support of systems, software or other solutions pertaining to deploying capabilities to cloud systems. The candidate will work within a team of software and IT engineers to build high performance, cloud-based solutions. • Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.
• Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutions
• Work closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.
• Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels

• Report status on tasks and assignments
• Must be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources
• 2+ years network and operating system experience
• 2+ years' experience in container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker
• Experience using a source code repository such as Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or Subversion
• Experience using a defect management system such as Jira, Bugzilla or Fogbugz
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
