Job summary

SC Works in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and cloud-based systems. You will build RESTful APIs, implement CI/CD pipelines, and work with AWS and Azure using IaC to improve performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow SDLC and DevOps practices, and monitor performance across environments. Travel within the United States for short or long-term engagements may be required; no international travel is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and cloud-based systems.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SVN to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop application features, RESTful APIs, and backend services to support business functionality.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks and validation scripts integrated within CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot system and software issues across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application code, deployment processes, and system architecture for efficiency and maintainability.
• Maintain documentation and follow SDLC and DevOps best practices.
• May require providing services at unanticipated locations to various clients across the United States for short term and long term durations.
