DevOps Cloud Architect, Digital Engineering Solutions (Remote)

CDM Smith is seeking a DevOps Cloud Architect to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This role involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, facilitating CI/CD practices, and utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. The candidate should have extensive experience in cloud architecture, including security, scaling, integration, and application migration, and be committed to continuous learning and innovation.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Designing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and other platforms.
2. Implementing DevSecOps culture, pipeline automation, and architectural analysis.
3. Developing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in agile environments.
4. Automating infrastructure with Bicep, ARM templates, and scripting languages.
5. Promoting reusable solutions and templates through infrastructure as code.
6. Monitoring system performance and health.
7. Establishing standards for cloud platforms and identity management.
8. Incorporating security best practices and ensuring compliance.
9. Analyzing business needs to design scalable, secure cloud services.
10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging in research on complex systems.
11. Optimizing cloud costs and working with multicultural teams across time zones.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 8 years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and related degrees.
