Job summary

A leading IT staffing firm in Lisle, Illinois, is seeking a Build and Release Engineer. Responsibilities include working with Development and QA teams for environment support and creating test plans and cases. Candidates should hold a BS in Computer Science and have 2+ years of experience in build & release and QA automation. Key skills include Cloud Deployment using Puppet or Chef. The position is full-time with a duration of 12 months, including a possibility for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in build & release and QA automation.

Responsibilities

• Work with Development, QA and other teams for environment support.
• Update documentation for engineering team standards and best practices.
• Able to perform manual and automation testing.
• Write test cases and test plans.
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
